Our annual Calcutta again drew a huge crowd this year. There was plenty of anticipation in the room as the horses went to auction. The results for the Kyabram Club 2009 Calcutta are as follows:

After 10 years of loyal service to the Kyabram Club patrons, Cheryl Jarvis has moved onto the next stage of her life. Cheryl will be missed by our regular Monday evening roast night patrons who she enjoyed discussing the weekends footy results with, only when the Hawks won!! We wish Cheryl the best of luck with her new adventures & thank her for 10 great years.

We are bittersweet about saying farewell to Amber Duke! Amber has been at the Ky Club for numerous years providing a fresh young attitude to the bar and administration. Amber is spreading her wings and taking off overseas on an extended holiday. We wish Amber all the best for her adventures and look forward to hearing about the countries she has visited and the people she has met! Bon voyage Amber!

On the 24th of March we held our first sponsorship evening for the year with thousands of funds being pledged to numerous clubs throughout the district. Below are some pictures of the recipients taken on the evening.

Mr Ray Muller receiving a cheque from Alan Sunders and Maureen Walsh. The Cooma cricket club approached the Ky Club for assistance in their endeavour to install new turf at their club. We were happy to be able to help and look forward to seeing the Club move forward in 2009!


Valley View Golf Club have been struggling with the drought along with
many other sporting clubs. The Club has been raising money for new fairways to keep their Club recognised as one of the best throughout the region. We congratulate VVGC on their achievment and were proud to assist in those new fairways! FOUR!!!
