Thanks to a $1000 donation from both the Kyabram Club & Morrison & Sawers Accounting, Murray Human Services were able to purchase two new specialist chairs for their clients. The chairs are designed to support the elderly & disabled & the elevated height of the chairs make them easier to get in & out of. We are proud to support the Kyabram branch of Murray Human Services.

Kyabram Heart support group representative Bill Norman presenting a Certificate of Appreciation to the Kyabram Club as recognition of the on-going support that the Club has provided to the Heart Support Group. The Kyabram Heart Support Group donated $4,000.00 to the Kyabram and District Health Services recently. The heart group sold tomatoes throughout the season to locals with proceeds going to our hospital. An amazing contribution from this group.

Recently our state has suffered the worst Bushfire disaster in history. Our community has bandied together to help those in need with various fundraising efforts including the bushfire concert featuring local artists at the Plaza Theatre on Sunday 22nd March. The Kyabram Club wanted to contribute to the fundraising efforts on behalf of our members and donated $11000 to the Red Cross via region 21 delegate Phyllis Hawker. Pictured with Phyllis are board members John Elborough and Terry Nepean. On behalf of our members we were proud to be able to make this sizeable donation to those in need and congratulate our wonderful community in assisting those in need with various fundraisers throughout the region.
The Kyabram Club is recognised as one of the Victoria’s most generous benefactors in supporting its local community, indeed winning the prestigious Community Service Club of the Year for 2003 and Tattersalls Catergory "Club of the Year" for 2006. The Club sponsors many, many organisations within the district – be they charitable, educational or sporting.
The Club is proud of its role within the Community and has provided in excess of half a million dollars in direct financial support over recent years to local community bodies. The Club has a unique program of encouragement for the younger citizens of the district providing financial sponsorship through the schools to every child enrolled at each pre-school, primary school and secondary college located within a 20 kilometre radius of the Club.
