Our Friendly Staff
The Kyabram Club provides employment for more than 40 persons - all beverage personnel are trained and qualified in the Responsible Serving of Alcohol and the Responsible Serving of Gaming. All catering personnel are trained and qualified in Food handling and have successfully completed qualification in the understanding of the Food Safety Act.
The Club continuously provides education and qualification opportunities with staff regularly updating qualifications in First Aid and Occupational, Health and Safety. The Club provides opportunities for young persons to enter the hospitality industry and achieve career goals in this field. The Club participates in the school-based apprenticeship scheme and is providing training to young students in Business Administration Hospitality as well as Cooking and Culinary.
Opportunities exist within the Club for persons wishing to expand their knowledge and expertise in the Hospitality industry with the Club encouraging and supporting such personal development.

Mike Sweeney
Manager
Mike is qualified with a Degree in Catering and Hotel Management and has many years experience in the hospitality industry. Mike has been Manager since July 1997 and is actively involved in the local community being current Vice- President of the local Hospital Board, Vice- Chairman of the Kyabram Development Commitee and a 'Clubs Victoria' Council representative.
Julie Febey
Administration Manager
Julie has been employed in business administration for more than seventeen years, including ten at the Club. Julie's competent skills ensure the smooth flowing operation 'behind the scenes'. Julie loves the outdoors. netball, socialising with friends and spending time with her two boys.
Mick Simmonds
Operation Manager
Mick has vast experience in the hospitality indusry having worked for the past 16 years in and around the Echuca region. A qualified massage therapist, Mick likes to 'chip' away at his golfing handicap of 18, and enjoys watching various sports.
Scott Childs
Duty Manager
Scott has worked in the ospitality industry throughout Melbourne for over 20 years. He enjoys nothing more than having a quiet chat with patrons & finding out where the best fishing holes are!! Scott enjoys fishing, golfing & spending time with his family.
Jodi Burch
Functions Co-Ordinator
Jodi is new to the hospitality industry however brings a wealth of experience in customer service having spent her entire working career in this area. Jodi also sings in a duo travelling to surrounding areas to play. Jodi enjoys spending time with her children, family and friends. Jodi looks forward to adding that personal touch to your next family get together or celebration.
Vicki Gilbert

Vicki is an energetic and enthusiastic employee who's vibrant personality shines behind the bar! Always up for a joke, Vicki comes to us with over 15 years experience in this industry. Vicki enjoys travelling throughout our great country with her family. Keep an eye out for Vickis' infectious smile behind the bar!
Dean Shay
Beverage and Gaming
Dean has never worked in the hospitality industry prior to now. He has tackled his new role with zest and enthusiasm. Dean is an active member of our community having lived here for the majority of his life. Dean enjoys playing golf and following the 'Baggy Green' cricketers.
Mary Livingston
Beverage and Gaming
For twelve and a half years Mary has worked on a part-time basis as a Beverage and Gaming Attendant. Dedicated to the family of husband and two daughters, Mary is full of energy playing various sports such as tennis and netball, follows the cricket and has an obsessive passion for her beloved Essendon Football Club.
Lorraine Brown 
Gaming and Cleaning
Lorraine is a proud mother of her three children and also of her three grandchildren. She remains enthusiastic after her ten years at the Kyabram Club and is still keen to travel the world. Lorraine loves to play tennis and together with husband Laurie follows the Melbourne Football club.

Peter Kaladis
Catering Manager.
"Zorba" manages the catering at the Kyabram Club. He loves the jazz guitar as much as he enjoys a good game of soccer. Originally from Bendigo, Peter has many years of experience catering within the Club industry. he is enthusiastic in his mentoring of young persons to qualify as Chefs. He can cook!.
Baden Fraiser
Head Chef
The head chef of the Kyabram Club loves to have a cold one with his mates fishing and is a crack shot in paintball skirmishing. He follows the Essendon football club and aspires to winning the lottery and retireing. Not only that he can cook, having undertaken training in high style cuisine cooking in the UK and extensively throughout Australia.
Steve Bolton
Apprentice Chef
Steve has recently moved from the front of house to the depths of the kitchen
to take up a chef apprenticeship! Steve has more than ten years experience in
the hospitality industry making him more than qualified to know a thing or two about food. Steve's passionate about good food and loves nothing more that trying out new recipes. Steve also enjoys photography and has a desire to extensively travel the globe.
